I think you will find that unless you use a stock LR converter you will come up against mounting and spacer issues, P76 only ever use a BW auto so its no good to you.
Just me again...
Can anyone tell me if there are different bellhousings for the 3500 to ZL? gearboxes? I have bought a Beemer box , with converter , but it doesnt sit as proud as the landy converter. I can add some photos tomorrow if anyone needs to see the differences , my main one is the landy is 4 bolt and the beemer 3 bolt , with different spacings. Hoping to use the beemer one so i can have a stall converter. Is there perchance a not-as-long bellhousing from say a P76 or other landy that will do the job?

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈
Cheers justinc , they talk of using the converter as a stronger less slip box. Im after something that has "slip" and will act as a stall converter , not a torque converter ( if that makes sense ).
One of my other gems currently has a 2lt turbo with a 3200 stall in it. Now N/A , i can stall it to 3000rpm , but with the turbo i can push it to 4000rpm on the line at willowbank. What im chasing is a similar kind of stall out of the converter , top end wont matter too much as it'll rarely see highway driving , but im sure that with the 4th gear , lightweight body ( as compared to the weight of a disco ) , lockup should still occur , but if it doesnt im not fussed. I'll be running a large auto cooler , so i know that will help things , and now have a spare box available incase i fry or blow one up.
Jason at Autoflyte in Thomastown (Melb) can build you a convertor with any stall speed you want.
Did a beautiful job with a one off for me that mates a 350 and a C9. GM and Ford living side by side in a Leyland coffin.
cheers, DL
