    Dust sealing again

okay, have gone over the Defender and sealed any holes and gaps, when I notice the rear door top passenger side corner isnt even touching the seal, let alone compressing it.I can see light thru it into the cabin. So is the door bent or are those crazy looking hinges out of adjustment, and if so how do I realign the door? The door shouldnt be bent unless from factory as I've had the truck from new(2003 Xtreme 20000ks), but who knows. Thanks for your help. Crump.

They are designed that way to allow the water to exit when doing deep water crossings.
Seriuosly though, I found on my disco that the top of the window frame gap was too wide, so I loosened the 2 side bolts onthe outer door to window frame junction and adjusted them to bend in more. Don't knoew if sefenders are the same.

Is it still under warranty, then let the dealer fix it!

Agree, get the dealer to fix it and have them show you how it is done.

My rear door use to rattle and bang (MY2002). Got the dealer to fix it and it has been fine ever since. Just need to know how to adjust it. :?

    Dust sealing again

Yeh taking it back to the dealer is the right idea, but its a 6 hour drive and I was hoping to be able to adjust it myself if possible. When you look at the actuall hinge "pivots" the 2 lower ones dont seem to be sitting square compared to the top, which would explain the door being misaligned at the top corner. If I loosen the hinges off, not the mounts, but the actual centre pins to try and realign are there any traps for the unwary(bearing in mind I have the mechanical aptitude of a jellyish)?
