Thanks
But do you know anywhere I can find an official record of that process?

Hi
Does anyone have any data/info on 1970's RRC chassis numbers
My engineer thinks my number looks dodgy/unprofessional and hence might be a rego issue
Anyone able to comment on if the number stamped on the right front of this RRC chassis - does it look normal factory for that era and where can I find a reference that says that?
Note chassis has been sand blasted and painted

Just looked at the numbers on my '81, and they are bigger than yours, the number height is about 3/4 the distance between the bolt flats. There are 6 digits and they are in more or less a straight line, but still a bit wobbly.
It's not a Dodge, it's British!
:P
If you have something to say it`s around 76 those numbers should work .
Any suggestions where I could find something quotable that says the chassis numbers were hand stamped in the 70's?
