Both my car and dads have a set of Kings in them, they seem ok and are only about $130 a pair. They seem to have made the ride better, not so crashy as the original ones. Dad tows a 17ft single axle Coramal poptop, the rear drops about 12-15 with van on. Mine drops about 10 with the Jayco swan camper on.

I get the springs at Thompsons Auto parts at Tingal rd Wynnum, they have a shop at Cleveland and Capalaba as well, this is the wrong side of town for you I know. Thompsons are owned by Coventry spares, they have some outlets on the Northside, I think there is one at Brendale. I got the ones for dads TDI about 1 month back, I think the fronts were $124 and rears were $138 ? I've purchased 3 or 4 setts over the last 12 months price hasn't changed. For shocks depends what you want to do and spend. I like Konis or Bilstiens, but if you want some thing cheaper and ok value for general use just get some Munro magnums 4x4s $170 a pair 40k km/ 24month warenty. I put a set in Brad's TDI before he spent 10 weeks in the Kimberly expecting them to be stuffed when he got back, 50k later they are still ok, good value I reckon for general use and don't make them drive like a drae.

    KRFR-06 Front
    KRRR-04 Rear
    to give me 30-35mm lift.
    thats not 2''
and an increase rate of approximately 25%

I used the Krfr 01 and Krrr 04 in Brads car prior to the Kimberly trip, It rasied it pretty close to 2 in. He then fitted a 135 litre tank and loaded it with heaps of stuff including a full length rack full, it dropped the back a bit so I fitted the Krrr04hd and these held the car up fully loaded/overloaded, you can get HD ones for the front as well. I'm not sure what these would be like in a car with out big tank, dual bats, winch etc may be too stiff but would lift it a bit more I reckon. In mine and Dad's car I just fitted the standard hieght ones as we both have issuses of getting them under cover if they are too high, Ksfr01 & Ksrr04 these lifted the car at least 20-25mm because we had to take the stopps of dad's roller door and lift them 30 mm to get the car under the house (just). All cars will be a different hieght due to what extras they have and how sagged the old springs were. I suspect Kings will tell you they will lift them 35mm as a safe bet so you don't complain if they don't raise it 40-50. On Dads car I reckon the standard hieght ones lifted the front by nearly 30 mm over what we took out, this car has dual bats ,twine shower and steel arb bar but then to old ones where probably sagged. I've been using them because I can get them 1km from home, the car seems to ride better and at about $130 pair I condsider them disposable. Brad wore out a set of Billstiens on the front of his on the Kimberly trip the stocks had probably done 30k of lite use prior to the trip. The springs still seem ok.

I still have to replace the springs all around my disco. I have arb steel bullbar, dual batteries up front and up back I'll have a 135 litre fuel tank (Still to be fitted !!). I was thinking of putting the standard height springs all around (will use Kings though) and putting those polyairs on the back, because I want be running with a load all the time in the back and also have a problem at work if I rise the car anything over standard height I want get the car in the basement.
