just rebuilt my 4hp22 auto. 2000 disco td5.
road test- select D bump but not strong
increase revs. slow to pull away
did not appear to have 1st or 2nd
had 3rd + lock up - 4th + lock up & rev.
Stall test - 2800 rpm
idle press test - P 93

on advice removed transmission removed valve body carried out press test.
all clutches operating. dismantled auto. on advice to check one way clutches.
all ok. dismantled valve body. press.reducing valve "2" found to be stuck in closed position. all clutch packs showed signs of slipping ( slip marks on steels )could this be causing my problem? appears to be low clutch feed press? Any one out there with experience on these transmissions,your help would be appreciated.
