    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
8 hours in defender seats hurt.
Lumbar seems to be ok, but the bum part seams to be to soft, so you hurt after a few hours.

Mmmm bugger... might have to look at more padding...

i can only imagine that moving a seat back in a defender will make it more comfie, i will never know as i have a 110 tray back. but what about your shoulders??? unless you are built like a toothpick you need to drive with the window down, right arm out just to relieve some of the pressure on your shoulder which is against the door frame/ b-pilar. Vlad how tall are you, i'm 6-2 and with the roof lining removed have about 4-6 inches left before i hit. rasing the seat seems to be trhe way to go in the 2 doors. as this takes a little of the fold out of your legs(which in my case is past 90 degrees) and return some circulation. we don't need to make the back of the cab bigger, we need to make longer doors/roof to suit.

There's a recent thread on the LRE forum about Aerotech seats

    here

It appears that Aerotech is now owned by SAAS, and the seats are available through TJM stores.

Serg I'm 6 foot tall (185cm) according to the drivers licence.

My head fits in (with the roof lining intact) but the head restraints on the seat - what a joke !! My head 'restraint' is the protion of rear bulkhead above the rear window.

Certainly not ideal.... but far too expensive to fix so I'll have to live with it.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

The Aerotech seats have removable bases just like the Defender jobbies.

Someone on this forum has them in a Defender, I remember seeing pictures somewhere in the gallery.

    Found them in LRDEF110's album:

    Aerotech are no longer available.

I was thinking. it only takes 2-4 mins to unbolt a seat if you had to get to the battery.

So i might just get some Disco or similar seats and bolt them in.
I have some Volvo seats so might throw them in to see how pox it looks.

I'd like to make the bum part removable, but looks like lots of work.

    Hey no its not.....
Mmmm i'll sketch an idea and post it....
