Moving them back is easy.
reposition the bolts. drill out the plates and move them back, re pop rivit them in and bingo your back...

i will have to do it to the Passenger seat on what ever one i get as my wife has long legs....

Mmmmm
OK remove the seats.
you will see where they bolt to the box.
from there you will see the plates they bolt into. they are pop riveted on.
drill out pop rivets. move them back all the same distace. Redrill the holes and pop rivet them in.
then rebolt the seats.

Simple to explain. remove the seats then you will see.

Ohh find the topic about downloading defender manual. download it.
then you can see the parts i'm talking about.

Still too hard. Get someone else to do it.

Once done you can only have kids up to the age of 6 in the back. Any older and you have to aputate their legs.
