Not quite. The owner of KBS used to work for POR as their chief chemist and developed a lot of their products. He went out on his own in Australia and refined the products and formulas as POR had no inclination to make their products better. KBS is getting a good name in the US as well.

Most major paint shops will either now stock or can get these products in. I know we have 2 local paint suppliers that stock some kits and can order in anything they dont have.
The biggest issue with these products is they have to be applied correctly, if not failure can occur and why there are some mixed reviews of both KBS and POR.

The tank on my old moto guzzi SP1000 was done before I bought the bike, 16 years ago, still no problems , who ever did it did a good job nice and thick, creamy beige color.

    Any updates?

I have had diesel sitting in this old tank for a few years with no leaks.
Now ready to use it so I pressure cleaned the inside as it had a fair bit of rust in it.
Painted the outside and thought to put a few litres of diesel in it before installing to be sure.
No, its weeping to my dismay.
Found this thread and was wondering if there are any new thoughts or updates on sealers.

    Keith
