Split Performance Intercooler - Anyone Else?
Hi Guys
Just looking at my options for aftermarket Performance intercoolers and was wondering, after my current 3.5 year experience with the Allard intercooler splitting along the seams (repaired and split again within 6 months) with only a standard turbo running 19psi boost.. who else has had an intercooler split?
As we have family coming over shortly, I have the opportunity to maybe squeeze one in their suitcase (carefully packed of course!). I have been looking at paddocks (serck) as they are down the road from the family. It looks fairly identical to the Allard, which makes me more concerned about the longivety and the chance of it splitting.. anyone else been using a serck based unit over the years?
I know ASE and Alisport have been recommended and noticed that IRB have a unit made by PWR now (Aussie company maybe? or at least have Aussie presence) but just looking at my options..

I have an Alive tuning ( Gary Wood ) Chiptech intercooler, it appeared too be quite robust and it has cast side tanks. It has not be in my Puma very long, however it works well in the heat. Made in Austria I believe.

Have a look at Air to Water Intercooler. They also do a full range of air to air, and fittings and accessories.
