    Side Steps

    Can anyone advise as to whether or not the standard side steps fitted to the 03 Xtreme can be used as high lift jacking points or rock sliders, or do they lack the structural integrity.

    Hi Crump,

    If there any thing like the optional LR side steps then they are just that, side steps only, plus they will stop the soft side panels being dented from people with there car doors in the car park.

    I wouldn't go there, esp with the jack. I note the underside of mine are showing signs of scoring from rough country, but I doubt they'd stand up to supporting the full vehicle load, as in sliders.

    They're fairly robust ... but not that bloody tough [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img]
