Improving Defender A/C

    Someone asked about this recently.

I found a cheap and reasonably effective improvement in the form of a (fairly heavy) plastic film in front of the cargo barrier. It's available from Milford for about $50 and is simply fixed to the barrier with plastic cable ties. The top section is clear and the bit below the seat back is opaque grey stuff.

Reflection isn't too bad, but I don't often look behind me anyway, gaps in the traffic just seem to happen when you drive a Defender.

It doesn't flap in the wind with the windows down either.

You could probably buy the plastic and cut it to shape yourself for less than $50, but I'm a lazy bugger.

Nice idea, but I think my mate's dog might veto that "upgrade".

I have been meaning to do that for ages. Didn't know you could get it ready made though - thanks!
