200 and 300 TDi are self bleeding engines. No need to bleed just make sure the battery is good fill up with feul and crank it over, and will start easy
It the earler diesel engines that are a pain in the arse
In all my time in running diesel cars I've never had to prime the fuel after changing the fuel filter - just normally replace the filter and crank her over a bit more than normal.
Has always worked fine for me!!!

When I change the filters on Discos, I just start the engine and crack the bleeder on the filter top, all the air is out in a few seconds.
