    aircon hoses

    Can anyone see a problem with running air on hoses up on top of my Isuzu motor? I just can't see any other way to run them. Will put them in some heat proof sleeving stuff.

    Shouldn't be a problem as long as you insulate them against movement Damien.

    Not that familiar with the Isuzu, but would it mean having to discharge the aircon any time you want to work on the engine, such as taking the top cover off?

    Nah, will be enough slack to move pipes out the way, should be able to take the head off if I need. will only be a pain if I have to remove the engine, same as any engine.
