Rhino aluminium rack
Has anyone had any experience with the Rhino Aluminium roof tray. The one with the highlift jack holder, wheel carrier and shovel holder. Looks the goods, but would like some feedback before I buy.

Hi Crump,
I had the same setup on my second defender, 3/4 lenght which on a defender was pretty long, with 3 rhino bars and a fourth at the front of the cab, it was to carry a full length bracket with a roll out awning on the side. The rack was great as you could remove it and just use the bars or to reduce height for undergroung/garage parking.
The alloy tray/basket was very light but extremely strong when fully fitted, and well supported, it was also a better platform to carry stuff as my previous defender I had a full length ARB roof rack which wasnt as user friendly plus it was heavy, took 3-4 people to remove and install 8O , the rhino basket I could do alone .
I carried a second spare up there on occasion only hassel was getting a 235/85 16 up there 8O , most of the time it held tent and camping tarp chairs table etc, it had 3 years of use when I sold the car and showed no sign of wear. I am considering a similar arrangement this time on the disco.
Regards Glen
