Does that mean the thin one that's bent like a banana is the original disco bar, and the thicker jobbie that's stayed intact is the replacement rangie bar?

    I've bent one too :-(

Diameter is one thing, but some of them are hollow too.

You don't need diff locks to bend one. It seems to be happening more & more.
Aftermarket stuff seems to be the only answer.

Never bent one yet! Must be a lucky bastard I guess...

Broken my share of diffs, axles and CVs but never bent an Arm.

However, with the current lift I am running custom rear arms and severely doubt those suckers are ever going to bend.

I fitted them to 'unload' the rear bushes and its paid dividends thats for sure.
Now just have to fit the new shocks and she's going to go well.

Not too sure if I'll ever refit lockers, last vehicle had them, this one doesnt. But I convinced myself to improve 'my' abilities this time before considering lockers again. I found that with lockers a large amount of the offroad enjoyment disappeared so ended up not using them.

This may be the reason my vehicle isnt breaking stuff - however I'm now doing harder and harder tracks than ever before (more technical driving) and still not having failures.

But my techniques are certainly improving 8)

Cant say the same for the rear tank... It took a nice hit the other day and lost about 2 litres capacity 8O

You can even see the internal ribs in the tank now where the flat plate has "formed" around the internal rib.

I can also supply the heavy wall, re-aligned rear arms, pricing available upon request (PM)

    Cheers
    Mike

Mine was all customised by the previous owner. Only thing I have bent so far was the steering drag link.

I just had these made up by a mate:

they use both ends from a standard set, but with 1" solid bar - these are cranked for 3" lift also.
