Yes - and no.

The 38A is a lovely car to own and drive but it is complex and, if something fails, it can be very expensive. In the bush, the complexity is a negative.

The County is simple. But it's hard to live with the noise, the 4-speed manual box, the shunting in the transmission, and the general non-user friendliness of the door locks and windows, etc. But, by heck, you can fit some stuff inside it! We used it last Saturday morning to move my daughter out to Chatswood. Everything fitted in the County. In the afternoon, my son and his mate used it to move their stuff to Orange. We are empty nesters - again.

No, the Peuge<span style="color:red">o</span>t is in her name - she paid for it.

Hmm, the R1 might be a bit cramped for my, umm, build. It's a tiny bike.

Generally, I service my own vehicles. KLR only do what I can't do, e.g. rebuild diff. The rest I've done myself (sometimes in KLR's workshop [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif[/img] ).

I don't think I've driven the Forester yet. It's Elisabeth's car. She likes it.

As the Suby is new, it will be serviced by Subaru Penrith but I'll do some stuff myself. I don't believe in 15,000km oil changes.

I have mine done by my local Scooby dealer, SVM, every 12,500km as per the book - but I check it regularly.

SVM use Castrol semi sythetic oils which they claim is fully supported by Subaru.
