The shockers are OME (40mm above std).
The noise was there before the new shocks.
I have no hair left afterpulling it out looking for this damn noise.
The steering damper is OK as well (checked it today)
I have a feeling that this will be annoying me for a while.
Rickster
what model is it?
does it have traction control and abs?
are you sure its not one of these making the noise?
it sounds like its just the abs pump kicking in......you were on the brakes each time it happened werent you?
It's a 99 Series II.(TD5) ABS, TC, HDC etc, etc, etc.
No, I have been accelerating everytime the noise happened.
Went away on weekend pulling the van on about 10km of dirt roads and not a sound.
Maybe the new shocks have settled in and the noise has gone.
At this stage "no noise is good news".
Will post a message if it comes back.

I'm the opposite, least you know it's still hangin' in there if it's making noises. When the noise stops, normally so does momentum. 8OQuote:
