Thread: Parking lights will not switch off.

G'day all,

2003 TD5 130

My parking lights will not switch off. I have to completely disconnect the battery every time.

Before I start pulling stuff apart has anyone else had this issue before and what was the issue?
I have tried to search the forum but it's a bit difficult on my phone.

Dunno a lot about Deefers ( except that I want one ), but it sounds like the switch to me. First thing I'd do is unplug that.

Then, if they stay on you've got a circuit where you shouldn't, so look for wires rubbed through.

If they go out, then it will be the switch or possibly the loom from the switch to the plug, but probably the switch.
