Diary of TDI Conversion - Day 11 Rolling Chassis

    G'day Guys,

Sorry about the delay, been a bit busy!!!

I have managed to clean up and spray the 2 axels - now look as good as new.

Front End went in first - pretty easy:

Then the rear - trickier now that the front of the chassis is raised. Now we have a rolling chassis:

I must add, that later that night I managed to get the engine / gearbox / transfer into the chassis - THX to another forum member, Larry, for the late night lift of the motor.

Good stuff LRH, as pedro said, the blue coils look good.

What would we do without our fellow forum members? What a network to be part of. Matt

The blue coils are Lovells coils - these were on the RR for over a year now.

I may have to replace the front ones now, as the TDI weighs a bit more than the V8, then theres the ARB bullbar and a Warn winch to go in yet.
