question for daves3 re: ford transit springs
noticed in your post about engine swaps you mentioned stuff about fitting ford transit parabolic springs to series trucks. I did a quick search for more info on the pommie boards and found it is an easy swap but could get no info on what transit models to steal to get parts from or how good the swap is.. Mate you got any further info?

Speaking to a friend about it -
He said they are from the older vans which were not designed to carry a lot of wieght.
Looks for the single or double leaf front springs.
You will need a torque rod / track bar as axle wrap is an issue.
They are a good swap for ride comfort though.
Just measure the spring length and go searching at your local car wrecker.
