    Chassis blasting - Adelaide

after any advice on getting a chassis prepped for a rebuild.

Currently completely stripped and will get a pressure wash to get the gunk of.

I guess the best thing is to get it blasted and primed so I can put a coat of black on it, any recommendations for the best process and even better still of a place in Adelaide who can pick it up, do the work, and drop it off again?

Not sure if you have considered it, but have you perhaps thought about having the chassis galvanized?

Minus Paint. Corner South Tce and South Rd Wingfield.
They use some kind of chemical dip process, caustic probably. Parts come out completely bare of paint, rust, filler etc. Tanks are big enough for whole car bodies.
Not sure if they do transport of parts though.
    May be worth a call.

Don't use Grit blasting to clean your chassis, it is only welded mild steel and shot or grit blasting will peen the metal causing stress points esp. next to welds, chemical stripping does a better job and they dip it in a rust retardant primer as well, Regards Frank.

    thanks guys for the advice!

due to unforseen financial circumstances this project is now taking a cheaper path.

I spent a bit of the afternoon with a flapper wheel and a wire brush on the drill and then rust converter and kill rust prime/finish one coat that I already had from a pervious chassis job years ago.
