Temp gauge
Hi,
I recently changed the thermostat on my Land Rover Discovery 1 V8 petrol and gas and now the gauge doesn't work the needle just sits on the dead bottom. Does anyone have any ideas why?
Also Iv noticed the plug that goes into the Fan sensor is disconnected but can locate it does anyone know where I could look to trace the cable?
Thanks
Alan

Can someone help with this or maybe help locating the sensor as well. It's just I'm going for a long trip with the boat and pretty keen to get it sorted.
Thanks
Alan

The temperature gauge's sensor is on the forwards section of the inlet manifold just forwards of the petrol injector for no.1 cylinder, ie on the passenger side. It has a single wire connected to it which should be lying somewhere nearby.
