No, the local stealer. He blithely suggested I drop it back so they could have another crack at fixing it. I said "No thanks cobber, you come and pick it up" .... Cough, cough, splutter, splutter, squeal .... "But we're very busy" .... Stiff **** mate, so am I.
They left the car they arrived in for my use ...

I had a right royal time with the brainless twits from Southside LandRover in Brisbane.
Someone, in their infinite wisdom, neglected to include the "tool" for unlocking the lock nuts on my 2003 Fender. This I found out when my car was on the hoist at Beaurepaires awaiting MTRs. :x
A call to LR revealed that they did not hold them in stock at spare parts, and no..."of course we don't carry them in the workshop. We use the ones in the car".
After a few heated phone calls, I managed to get some twit named Ashley who professed to be the GM of Southside. He told me that one of the locking nut tools was on order and would arrive from Melbourne in a week or so...and that was the best he could do. Well....
I don't think I took a breath for at least 5 minutes as I verbally raped this poor ***** on the phone.
I asked him if that was the best solution he could come up with, then who did he catch rooting a dog to become GM?
Then the idiot asks me to come up with a better solution... No problem, I said. Take yourself outside and remove the locking nuts and tool from one of the new Defenders in your yard and have them ready for me to pick up 8) He then asked me what was he going to do about the missing nuts on the defender 8O " Order yourself some more, dickhead!" 10 mins later I pulled up in the driveway at Southside and there at the reception was a bag of 5 locking nuts and the tool.
They really are a bunch of incompetent ******. But keep on them and you will get what you are entitled to recieve.

After quite a short time, in which the wheels were removed perhaps two times by me. I told them to stick their locking nuts and socket as they were on the verge of failing and I didn't want to be wrestling with them by the side of the road.
Now have one new nut and matching socket on the spare and that's it. Useless bloody things they were.
Cheers
