Thread: HSE Range Rover

Just new to this forum and have a few questions about the 1996 HSE Range Rover.
Can anyone enlighten me as to the pros & cons of this particular model.
I owned an 83 two door for about 10 years and the only trouble I had with it was electrolysis. I am with out a vehicle at the moment and have been considering an HSE Model can anyone help.

Get a car later than 86, go 89 0n to get the later 14CUX hot wire injection much better. I reckon your best bet is to get a car between 89 and early 90s prior to the air suspension, these will offer the cheapest run in the long term. Cars in this bracket will have the bigger engine nicer injection, ZF box, but not the added complexity of the later cars. Or look for a nice early Disco. Remember these are all old cars now.
