Thread: 300tdi hows this head gasket look???

Try using a metal laminated gasket with your warped head, I blew a few composite gaskets because of the warped head, fitted a Victor Rienze Laminated metal gasket and ran faultlessly for another few years, till I could afford a new head, Regards Frank.

The head is in at the shop for warp, hardness and pressure test.

I picked up the the head from Guy and will be fitting it with a MLS gasket. Will be putting it on tomorrow if all things go well.
