can the alternator charge correctly and still have a crook diode draining the battery?
At 14.38V i'd say your alternator is working correctly, the battery holding charge is another matter. Check the battery with engine off and check it again tomorrow morning , if its dropped less than 1V its probably still good.

    check your relays..

we had a taslu while back doing random uncommanded actions that were a result of relays sticking.

thought we had that nailed then it did what your vehicle has done which turned out to be the Relay for the brains primary power sticking closed. The indicator lights were on the control of the relay. the end result was everything was powered up and drawing about 15amps but there was no indication of anything being turned on because there was no signal voltage to the relay.

if you dont have an amps meter grab a headlight bulb and wire it between the +ve of the battery and the main cable.

you could also have carbon shorting from the hot side of statermotor solenoid, thats what was causing fozzys battery drain when I first did his conversion.
