Thread: removing, defender bonnet lock braces

300 tdi , defender ute. In the process of fixing the air con again. I have removed the Condenser and have acquired a new one to fit. I have an extended nose cone , and with the brace removed there is heaps of room where I could easily fit two fans to the condenser to assist in cooling as I live in North Queensland. Has anyone done this and what was the result of removing the braces. Thanks Baz
