Ok, Shane, the workshop manual shows three wires. I have two.
The thick one on mine goes from the threaded terminal post on the alternator to the starter solenoid terminal post that has the battery cable connected to it.
The second one on mind goes from the spade terminal on the alternator to the ignition/battery warning light on the dash.
The third one (which I don't have) goes to the multifunction unit in the instrument binnacle.
