    Extended roof rack on D2

Hi guys I have a long tradies roofrack off a hiace twin cab ute of all things. Perfect width for the disco but instead of cutting it off I am thinking about making supports that bolt onto my TJM bullbar as it will come out about half way up my bonnet.

What are the thoughts out there?

Supports out the front would be 200 RHS or similar tube round might be best.

This is for our cape trip

    Matt

Make sure you can still replace the windscreen? Not trying to put the mockers on you!

I know it's free, but why do you need such a big roofrack?

Remember you can carry up to, and a bit above the max allowed roof load just with original extended roof rails and 3 cross bars, without all that extra weight and wind resistance.

Don't know why people put a 20+Kg empty roofrack up there - it leaves hardly any capacity to actually carry much.
    Cheers

I am about to cut it down to size but though i would toss this idea around a bit first. The Bullbar will be taking a bit of the load.
