Harmonic balancer perhaps .
Need some help from the AULRO brains trust with this one.
I have a vibration that is quite noticeable when in 4th and 5th at around 2200 rpm give or take, when under load, that smooths out a few hundred rpm past that point. I can sense it is there in the lower gears but it's a bit harder to detect at lower speeds.
If I rev the engine while stationary there is a vibration at 2200 rpm or so that can be felt up through the bodywork. It actually gets the panels buzzing a little but again disappears at a few hundred rpm higher. With clutch in the engine is smooth up to around 2200rpm but from that point a vibration can be felt through the clutch pedal that doesn't go away with more revs.
It hasn't been an issue in the past as I've been running half worn muddies and it was masked by their shake, rattle and roll. New ATs have made it very noticeable though. In 4th and 5th it is borderline concerning.
I'm guessing that it's got to be engine related, given I can feel a vibe at the same rpm point when revved in neutral albeit nowhere near as bad as the one when driving?
Any ideas? Could it be FIP related? The pump has 340k kms+ on it and was very poorly tuned when I got it. I've done my best with it but I'm sure the tune isn't perfect.
Only other thing I can think of is an out of balance clutch pressure plate. I fitted a Valeo 130 clutch kit a year or so ago and have recently read that they can be fitted 180 degrees 'out' which can cause vibration issues but I find this a bit hard to believe and all posts related to that were from 6 or 7 years ago.
Any ideas?

Checked the HB and there is no sign of any movement in it at any point through the rev range. Only eyeballing but I'm sure it's not the issue.
I'm starting to think I need a pro to look at the Injector Pump. Might be like it's owner, a bit retarded, or something. I changed the belt a couple of years ago and did it per the book so the pump timing should be right but perhaps it's a smidge out. Wouldn't take much to make a difference I'm guessing.
Either that or it's the clutch pressure plate but I find it really difficult to understand why a flywheel that is balanced and a pressure plate that is balanced need to be attached in a certain way to stay balanced. Balanced is balanced I would of thought.
Not much interest shown in thisbut I seem to have found the issue so will share it in case others come across the same thing.
I decided to recheck the FIP timing and found it to be a fraction out (retarded) and correcting this fixed the vibration.![]()
Was that a timing cover off job or done thru the inspection hole ?

Done through the inspection hole. Was actually an issue I created when changing the belt when I first bought the Deefer. I used a timing pin kit and the pin that should fit snugly through the hole in the pulley was a bit too snug and didn't push in as far as it should have.
Had been sitting in the back of my mind for a while so I revisited the adjustment process and found it was slightly out.
I added a smidge of advance while I was there by using a drill bit that was a fraction smaller in diameter than the timing pin.
