    D4 MY12 - Swap 4.4" TFT for 7" Touch TOPIx Help Request

I'm interested in swapping out my standard Base Audio system for a 7 inch touch screen with NAV and reversing camera.

I know this isn't going to be easy and I'm aware that I'll need to muck around with the CCF via nanocom.

First step is a feasibility study.
    - What bits do I need to buy?
    - How much will they cost? (I've got pricing for a screen, rear camera and rear loom)
    - How much effort is it to fit? (I'm assuming dashboard out but I'd like to know if I'll need to drop the roof lining too)

So far I've found a lot of info on installing the reversing camera when you already have the 7 inch screen but I haven't found any write up where someone has tried to swap out the screen too.

    Here's the ask!
Can any of you blokes help out with MY12 TOPIx electrical diagrams?
Any other advice. Is this doable? Does anyone know specifically what other modules I will need?

I'll update this thread as I learn more.

    Cheers all,

    Geoff

You'll need to fit the MOST bus into the loom up front as well, amplifier, rear loom, camera, screen..

All up should be doable for around $6k

Thanks Tombie. Do you know if the base audio unit already uses MOST bus?

To the best of my learning the base unit doesn't have the MOST bus cabling even in the vehicle

    Thanks for your advise Tombie.

Can anyone share their experiences with doing these changes?

I'm particularly interested in some information on how much of the dash has to be removed.
Will I have to remove the heater box and air conditioner for example? Or will it be just the crash pad and glove boxes....

Centre section and crash pad from my research..

I'm in the same boat - looking for solutions.
I had found one but proved incompatible with RHD for some reason and needs work.
