I have a genuine clutch master cylinder here but I'm not sure if it's D1 or D2. It has AP Lockheed cast into it.
As the title says, who made the original clutch master & slave cylinders for the Td5? Specificity around 2003 for a Td5 Discovery.
I need a new master cylinder, againI replaced it in 2012 with a AP one (Actually has AP moulded in the cast) and it is now leaking from the round metal disc that hangs off the bottom of it
The clutch has always been heavy since I bought the Disco, so this could be hydraulic related or actual clutch related. I have no idea what clutch is in the car, but was told it had been replaced shortly before I bought the Disco. So my idea is to replace both the master and slave cylinders with factory, but not at LR genuine prices
From what I can see I've got a choice of; AP or Delphi for the master cylinder, and AP, Delphi or TRW for the slave cylinder![]()

I've had good luck with Delphi parts, need a hand changing it?. Pat
I was leaning towards getting the Delphi ones. I think Delphi bought out AP, so the AP branded parts are possibly NOS.
Thanks for the offer Pat, I should be all good having changed the master in the past. I'll use this way first to bleed the system http://www.aulro.com/afvb/discovery-...-cylinder.html
