I have seen the bargain basement priced ones for $30, that may save ours from further damage.
Couple of bits of railway iron bolted to the back are just as effective if you are that prone.

Geeez John,
With a reputation like that I would be leaving Lismore. The whole town is reverse park by law isn't it?
I get cranky when I scrub a tyre.

There's some good stuff here
Having said that, can anyone tell me of an experienced LR repairer in Brisbane?

I spoke to two panelbeaters today. Neither of them would allow me to talk to someone who actually does the work. One said they just contract out aluminium work. I asked the recemption lady at the one if they had any experience repairing landrovers, and she said "we do heaps of Land Cruisers here!"
So I phoned MR and they recommended GS Panel Repairs. I rang them and talked to the Gary in GS. I'm going out to see them tomorrow morning. They sounded promising on the phone.
Anyone had experience with these guys?

That corner section actually is made of steel and does basically just fall off once the rivets are drilled out. Hammered mine square again, a spray can of white, and looks half descent again.
I've backed into things three times on that corner even knowing there is a blind spot!!!!!!
ops:
They are at last price I found in undercote metal from Rover about $70, hard to get 2nd hand as they sell them with the back guard.

Thanks trev
I forgot to mention knocking down the lattice fence at the Dentists, she drove into that one and hit it with the nudge bar, her excuse it is a crappy old fence 'it just fell down', she had to drive over a wheel stop to get to it.
I have( for what its worth) barred her from reverse parking or doing anything in the car that involves putting it in reverse.
Most of the parking places in Lismore are nose in, but reverse out.
I'm glad there is more than one grey disco in Lismore.
