			Parkers will not turn off.

					G'day all,
2003 TD5 130
This has been an ongoing issue. My parker lights will not switch off. Even with the ignition off and switch off. I'm having to disconnect the battery to turn them off. After about 24hrs with no batt they will be off when I reconnect the battery, the fault usually starts again when I am towing. My two trailers work fine on the 130, our Subaru and other peoples cars. I have cleaned terminals and earths.
Any ideas where to look next?
Easo

Can you get to the plug from the light switch?
It sounds to me like the switch contacts are arcing with the extra load(be it 2 or 3 globes).
Try unplugging the switch or pulling the fuse for that circuit to help isolate the issue.

I can, will need to pull the steering coloum plastics apart. I have a spare headlight switch from when the switches were burning out before I put Drivesafes headlight upgrade in. Be a good time to replace the indicator switch while I'm there.
