Fuel leak top of tank 94 rangie

When I fill up fuel is discharging from somewhere on the top of my tank .
Im guessing there breathers set up on top somewhere . Can this be seen without pulling tank out .
Ive confirmed leak is not from my tank pump and sender module .
    Thanks

    Fuel tank leak

Hi I had the same problem on my 110,on inspection the problem was found to be the nylon grommet that allows the wire on the low fuel level had popped out of the hole where it goes to the sender unit, this allowing fuel to leak out of the tank when full.
Since fixing the problem, my fuel consumption has improved as one would expect.

    G`day ,

if a soft dash there was a fault with some that required the tank replacement .

If you search the RRC section a fellow from WA had his replaced , i think either early this year or late last year under warranty even though many years out of the normal warranty .

If a hard dash probably the same tank but not aware of any landrover warranty .

PLR is correct - your 94 soft dash with a plastic tank qualifies.

This will likely be a warranty job by Landrover and done without argument. Drop in to your nearest LR dealer and have a chat with the service guys.

Disco 1 is the same, numerous fuel tanks cracked around the same MY,mainly petrol models, still under warranty today.

One of my brothers has a '93 that is leaking ATM,but is not in the VIN range which is very strange,so they don't want to know about it.
