Have a chat to Andrew at LR Automotive http://www.lrautomotive.com.au/

I was in there 2 weeks ago looking at various things and they had a Classic Rangie they were building up as their new comp/play truck with all the good bits. The kit that they have come up with has all but two of the risers (just under 2") braced to the chassis, rather than the backyardish spacer jobs that is so popular on the Jap trucks. It should go a long way to increasing rigidity and reducing stress and fatigue on the body. They have details on their website somewere.

As soon as you lift the body you have to do some mods. Namely the gear sticks and the radiator mounts. A 1" lift only requires mods to these. Going bigger starts to get into brake components etc.
