thanks, but im interested in the new STT as reviewed by a few mags this month.
the latest aust 4wd monthly tried them out.....
i dont think they were overly joyed with them.......they said they were better than the old ones....and good all round....not great...i thought they were wearing too quick from the figures given...
I have recently fitted them to my Defender and they seem OK. A little squiggly(maybe as they are not fatties) in the sand, good in the mud and dirt rocks etc. Wear rate seems OK have done about 5,000kms and signs of wear yet. The possible reason given for the ones on test in 4wd monthly was the fact that they were flown in from the USA and were not allowed too cool sufficiently after coming out of the hot mould. Apparently tyre need to cool for about 3 months before sale. The price I got was good and is why I chose them as I got them for $40 a tyre cheaper than the same BFG AT and about $60 cheaper tahn the BFG MT per tyre so was substantially cheaper.
Personally the Cooper STT and BFG M/T would be on my list - dictated by price at the time.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".
