    01 td5 d2 cat converter ??

Hi guys, recently had my d2 in for a service for the first time with a new mob near my house that only do landrovers and I was told beware they will try to sell you the kitchen sink if they can so I told them keep to a basic service and let me know what the major problems are. After finishing I went through the list and found quite a few anomalies. 1. Viscous fan broken require replacement( fan was in perfect shape but one tiny 2mm chip on a blade) 2. Cat worn require replacement (can't even see a cat in the exhaust and as far as I know they don't come with one). And there were a few other things that didn't add up so here's me main question to go back and discuss the rather overpriced bill.

Can anyone tell me does a standard 2001 d2 td5 have a cat converter because all I can see is the vibration eliminator the middle muffler and the resonator. Is there something I'm missing ?? Thanks in advance.

AFAIK the first model with cat is 2002 with EU3 engine , and you can tell by the EGR cooler on the front.(and the cat next to the XYZ switch)

Viscous fan on a TD5 is a one piece viscous & fan assembly, they might be referring to the viscous not working properly.
Unlike the D2 V8 where you can replace either part, the TD5 version only comes as a whole assembly.
