    Headlight Washers

I've had the dear Disco for over 6 years now and the headlight washers have never worked. It's not something that I have missed but I was wondering if anyone else's Disco also lacked the use of this English feature.

If it is to be restored to function where do I start?

They only work when the headlights are on - so if the washers don't work (and they are not bloked) then I would check out the switching (a relay?)from the headlight circuit.

I think the headlight washers use the same pump as the rest of the washers but I am not sure - if they have a seperate pump it will be linked into the headlight circuit. When stopped with the engine off, you can here the pump working on my car.

    Hope this helps a little.

when they do work(usually at night)
you can see the spray/mist in the headlight glow over the bonnet.
