    Double Cardan Failure + Vid

    Hi Guys
made a vid of my current double cardan, looks like i made it just in time, i know i should have done this a while ago but surprisingly had higher priority tasks to complete.

on this matter does anyone know where is should be getting the kit from. i can change myself no worries but not sure i want an ebay special, on the otherhand dont want a 4wd shop rip of jobby. Any suggestions would be great . Thanks !![ame="https://youtu.be/8pVqdCtQb8U"]https://youtu.be/8pVqdCtQb8U[/ame]

I bought the bits, three UJs and the centre bearing, from Hardy Spicer in (49 Banksia Road) Welshpool.

They keep them on the shelf, at least they did 2 years ago.

That looks nasty, very close to destroying everything!

I do agree though, there is a high change that the flange bearing cap seat has been damaged.

    Thumbs up

Thanks for the advice. Went to Hardy Spices and they did have it on the shelf, they also had a few other goodies and the guy there was into his landrovers. they had the kit and it came to $150 for three greasable UJ's and the centre bearing. of they did it for $300 including balancing or they had a larger tougher shaft UJ and kit for $730 so i went all out, gonna keep this one for a while so figures go hard or go home. Put it in tonight and shee's smooth as
