Picked up a 90amp hour deep cycle jobbie for $99 inc from the Acacia Ridge branch today and the service and price was fantastic, wont go anywere else for batteries now and would advise everyone to give them a go.

bellaposs what battery would I need as a starting (i.e. 'normal') battery for my Defender Tdi ?

    I think mine is cactus.

Now given the ute is not working I just need a way to get over to your head officeon the southside. 8O
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

N70Z I think is the normal starter, but who says you have to be normal

what are the contact details for the branch where you brought your battery, i'm up for another deep cycle. $99 for a 9 amper sounds good.

OK so what (if any) would be the real world advantages to me of selecting the Supercharge Gold MF95D31R over the supercharge Classic N70ZZ ? Obvioulsy the latter would be cheaper and the warranty is 24 months on both.

Now anyone happen to be coming past Acacia Ridge this afternoon ? Especially anyone whose coming to the LROC meeting tonight ??

Funnily enough I had battery problems this morning and had to jump start the Rangie.

I remembered this thread and was going to try and dig it up again today.

Unfortunately I won't get time to go to Acacia Ridge this afternoon

Somewhere earlier in this thread, the guys are great, I gave them the dimensions of the batt tray in the disco and said I wanted the biggest cap for that space, they were more than helpfull and a great price
