    Vent Seal Glue

What is the most suitable glue to stick on the vent seals on a 58 Series 1?
EPDM to steel.Would love to hear from someone that has done a similar job about 5 years ago and has driven the car extensively in all conditions since. Mine were replaced about 16 years ago by a P.O and never came undone, but the rubber deteriorated a bit. Because I don't know what a S2/S3 /Defender seal looks like and to get more exposure I posted in the General Chat section . .W.

Personally I'd use contact cement. (Kwik Grip or Gel Grip)

There is plenty of information on this forum of what people have used in the past. What's lacking is confirmation that a particular product has worked in the long run. .W.
