ACDelco reco'd 4 bolt steering box
Anyone one used one ?
Most mechanics use reco'd racks instead of new, just found that ACDelco Oz do a reco'd LR 4 bolt steering box.
Was just going to order a new one, but this might be a cost effective alternative.
They have a 2 year/50,000km warranty. My only concern would be the sector shaft. These appear to have a fatigue life and can fail in use.
Delco part # ACS1721
GM part # 19101750

Cheers Matt.
I remember Tony/Rangier Rover had a big scare when his went on his 110 Ute and one of the South American fellas posted a couple of scary photos.
I'll do a ring around soon and see how much the reco'ed ones are.
I'll be in Canberra in the next couple of weeks.
I'll give you a bell.
