Thread: TD5 Camshaft Access cover (found loose)

After lifting the Acoustic cover off the engine I found a small amont of oil around the camshaft access cover (a black plastic insert type plug). On further inspection this cover was loose and rotating freely. This is the first time I have looked around this area and no one else has been in that area. TD5 owners Check this when you next have the Acoustic cover off.- doesn't look expensive to replace but does lead to a small oil leak. :?
The vehicle is a 2002, 110 and has only done 125,000Km.

Yeah my 00 TD5 Disco had the same thing... o -ring only cost about 11 AUD
