Crimping or blocking the injector line is OUT, Trying to 'bung' it up with some 'goop'is not going to last, at all and a replacement line of just copper tubing is not strong enough...BUT having said that a 20mm section of fairly tight fitting copper tubing OVER the break and silver soldered will last the life of the vehicle! (just be sure the silver solder doesnt get inside the original line) If you "Flare" both ends of the short section slightly, you can run a bead of silver solder round each flare. Unfortunately you need a bit of original pipe showing out of the original fastening flare nut.

Hi all,
Cleaned and fitted the replacement No.3 injector pipe this arvo (thanks to JC & Pete).
Fitting the pipe took about 3 min. Adding the clamps took another 10 min. Started up and, after a few seconds, cylinder No.3 joined the party and now all is well again.
Ten k's down the road tomorrow, Daphne should reach her 380,000 km birthday. We will sing Happy Birthday to her, as long as she agrees to behave for the foreseeable future...
