Hi, do you think that a condenser exposed directly to sun heat without a big fan attached would be a good ideea?
The design of the 110 roof means there's a bit of gap between the roof rack and roof at the front, where the rack stays level and the roof angles down. Is there any issue fitting a large ac condenser in this area? It looks like it may fit. I understand the issues with running the ac lines but I can worry exactly where they go later.

Discovery Td5 (2000), manual, tuned
It would have a fan, the Red Dot systems do similar. Surely an engine bay is no nicer to a condenser than the Aussie sun?
Do it.
Stops blowing hot air on to the radiator so better cooling
I stuck a Red Dot on the Disco.

Sort of like that Brian. I assume that is high as it doesn't seem to be that wide? I'm thinking I could make it thinner by making the condenser wider so same area. May need two fan though.
Love the hat mount in there................ Yeah, yeah, I know it doesn't help you with the A/C issues
