I hope to remove the transfer case tomorrow. Will post what is revealed once I start pulling it to pieces, might take a few photos as a matter of interest. Posting the photos may test my computer skills.

T/case is out and the input gear is cactus, also don't like the look of the splines on the mainshaft of the g/box (LT85), I plan to buy the parts out of the UK, @$110.00 for the input gear and $220.00 for the m/shaft.
Apart from the backlash I was putting up with, the rest of the box worked fine, only a bit notchy through the gates. So it looks like I'm replacing the mainshaft as well, this should be another learning curve.
Any advice is welcome.
