now back to the task at hand!
have a look at the disc cover/wind deflecter thingy, attached to the
front discs. mine got bent(DS) onto the disc but it only made a noise on full lock! i put up with it for ages until it did it all the time!!!
one of the brackets broke/wore through and just kept rubbing on the disc.

i fixed it by taking them both off. that was 2yrs ago [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif[/img]

Thanks Phil, i havent had the time to look at it yet, had to go to the accountant yesterday and the fortnightly shop tonight, will look at it tomorrow arvo. Matt

If it happened when you pressed the brakes I would know it was worn pads, I have already been through that. But it happens when i'm not applying the brakes. :?

Yes and no. I pulled the wheel of this arvo, no rocks, the bearings are tight and there is nothing fouling in the brakes to make a noise, i turned the wheel each way and turned the rotor, not a sound. Could it be a CV joint, thats the side that was worn a bit Zook? Matt
