Speeding up turbo boost - how to?

So I have tuned up my fuel pump on 300 tdi, slightly advanced, resulting in cooler exhaust gases, and therefore, slower boost build up. Before it used to shoot up almost instantly as I hit the go pedal, now, I can feel the delay.

How do I get my turbo to spool up faster now? More fuel? I'm talking before wastegate comes into play.

    Thanx!!!

    More fuel.

    If it's a 300Tdi, there's a few simple pump tweaks.

Yup. Have that document and had my pump tuned up already. But it looks like it will need more tweaking since the pump advance.

    Thanx for advice all!

The real fix is a Turbo Technics VNT, or compounds if you like to fabricate and fiddle.

But it is also a $ figure that I can't justify. So I'll tune it up best I can with what I have.

    I hear ya.

I've actually just backed mine off in the last week, just too much soot, but I'm already missing the initial bottom end, particularly as I'm running 255/85's
