    Yet Another Tyre Question

    Hi Guys
My new Disco2 will need a set of tyres very soon.It has the factory 16" alloys, tyre size unknown, but they are the standard Michelins.
    Mud Terrains is the choice.
Sizes, what can I get away with,no suspension mods,I dont want any rubbing or gaurd mods at the moment.
Are the muddies noisy???? Looking a Wrangler MTRs ot BFG muddies but may get scared off by cost.

    Hi LA,

I think on a D2 you can fit 265/75 16s without any trouble, which will give a good range and reasonable prices as its a std range for Toyo and nissants

    hi Guys
Just had a poke around in Vlads "common threads" for the first time.
Vlad thats real easy to use,WELL DONE.
The answer is 245/75x16 for the stocker disco2.I will go thatway for starters,if I want biger down the track, these will fit the missus Trytoo.

    tyres

    Hi LandyAndy

Just fitted 265/75R16's to my D2 with a 2" lift and they fit perfectly with no rubbing yet, either on full lock or full articulation. I was going to go for the 245/75R16 but changed my mind at the last minute. Only thing now is I am going to change my gearing as that is all thrown out of wack.
Went for the BFG Muds myself and they are fantastic both off and on road. I had factory michilens on before probably same as yours and the BFG Muds are no noisier on road and handle great.

Hope this helps and good luck.
